This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what choices you have. It applies to seanhashmimd.com and no other site.

Health information

No doctor and patient relationship is created through this site. The inquiry form is not a secure patient portal and is not intended for clinical communication. Do not send personal health information, lab results, medical records, medication lists, or details about your own treatment. Messages cannot be answered with medical advice.

What is collected

When you subscribe or request a guide or book update. Kit may collect your email address, optional first name, signup source, consent details, and information about email delivery, opens, and clicks.

When you submit an inquiry. The site collects the inquiry type, first name, email address, message, and any optional details you provide, such as last name, organization, phone number, or event date. It also records whether you explicitly selected the optional newsletter box.

Automatically, when you visit. Wix and the site’s service providers may receive technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested page, date and time, and referring page. This data is used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site and understand site usage through Wix Analytics.

Cookies and similar technologies. Wix and service providers may use cookies or similar storage for security, form delivery, site features, and analytics. Kit may use storage to remember signup form choices. YouTube embeds may set cookies or receive technical data when loaded or used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect site features.

What is not requested. The public forms do not ask for government identifiers, financial account details, payment card numbers, medical records, laboratory reports, or treatment details.

To send the newsletter, guide, book update, course information, or event information you requested
To reply to an inquiry and keep an appropriate record of the correspondence
To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site
To understand site usage and email performance and improve requested communications
To meet legal obligations and protect rights and safety

Your information is not sold. It is not rented. It is not shared for anyone else’s advertising.

Who else is involved

Running a website means using service providers. Each one only receives what it needs.

Wix hosts and operates the website, delivers pages, stores inquiry and contact records, and processes technical data for site performance, analytics, form delivery, and security. Read Wix’s privacy policy.

Kit stores subscriber information and delivers requested newsletters, guides, book updates, course information, and event information.

Email delivery providers transmit inquiry notifications and acknowledgments.

YouTube and Google receive information under their own policies when you open YouTube links or load or use embedded videos. Video players and thumbnails may receive technical data about your visit, and video services may use cookies.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect safety or legal rights, or as part of a lawful business transfer.

The email you receive

If you subscribe, every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email sean@selfprinciple.org and ask to be removed.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. The inquiry form includes a separate, unchecked newsletter option. If you select it, that selection is recorded but the subscription is completed only through the approved Kit process.

How long information is kept

Subscriber records are kept while you are subscribed and as needed to honor an unsubscribe request. Inquiry records are kept as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, document the correspondence, protect the site, or meet legal obligations. Technical records follow the retention settings of the service that collected them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can unsubscribe at any time. To make a request, email sean@selfprinciple.org. Your identity may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional rights, including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability. The site does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be processed in the United States.

Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, email sean@selfprinciple.org and it will be deleted.

Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, and established service providers. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.

This site links to other places, including YouTube, SELF Principle, and other sites. This policy does not cover them. Read their policies.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The effective date at the top changes when it does. Material changes will be noted on this page.
